Butler turns down DC offer from AZ

This story
popped up a few days ago but received little attention. Why would Butler turn down a chance to advance his career unless he knows Lebeau is coaching his final season and Tomlin has promised him the job? He's happy to be a position coach? Right. He has to be the next in line. Considering he's the LB coach of a 3-4 team, wouldn't you figure that the 3-4 sticks around? It's what he knows. Plus, the defense features his current position.
Hmmm.

Interesting.
Unless he's just that content staying in Pgh, one would have to surmise that he has the inside track for whenever LeBeau leaves.

Or maybe he just wants another ring.
All joking aside, I hope Lebeau sticks around for more than 1 more season.

Well, that's true. They've got a lot of talent, but it's pretty hard to tell at this point if they were a blip on the screen or a truly rejuvenated franchise.
As for the Steelers...well...nee
d we say more?
