Apparently, Pennsylvania is as fucking backwards as the Dover evolution debate and other circumstantial evidence might suggest.

Which is it?  Is the word hell profane language?  It's not like you'll hear it on TV, or in a PG-13 movie.  Or is it taking the name of the Lord in vain?  If so, how?

Kalman says he chose the name because he believes it is better to struggle through difficult times -- that is, live in "hell" -- than to commit suicide.

Seems harmless.  Hell, it's downright commendable.

Quote
The statute reads: "(An) entity name may not contain words that constitute blasphemy, profane cursing or swearing or that profane the Lord's name."

I bet if he named his business "Sinners Burn In Hell" it would have flown right through.

Quote
blasphemy -  impious utterance or action concerning God or sacred things.
profane - characterized by irreverence or contempt for God or sacred principles or things; irreligious.

They should probably go ahead and execute the dude now.  Off with his head!

How in the HELL can this guy tell us what he knows about HELL unless he says HELL?

Have I got a point?

HELL YES!!!

Seriously, I don't see this law standing up to scrutiny.  Seems pretty cut-and-dried...like it or not, the man has rights, and his reasoning behind the name is pretty interesting as well.

And while we're on the subject...

If Satan's mignions at Westboro Baptist Church can have a website called http://www.godhatesfags.com/ then I would think this guy is pretty tame.  BTW, these people make me want to puke.
