OG from the Buffalo Bills, ESPN reported that he was released yesterday by the Bills... I know he was a giant flop in Buffalo, but was pretty solid in Washington... He was one of the highest paid guards at one point, but since his poor outing he might go for a lower more Steeler friendly price...

There is no way he couldn't be an improvement over what he watched last year.  It would depend on if the price was right...

Giant flop in Buffalo?  Or just not a good fit and not worth the $49M contract they threw his way?

Bring him in, for sure.

I saw a lot of him here in D.C.. Willie Colon II, except he's playing guard like he should be.

Doesnt that constitute a flop finny? Over paying for someone who doesn't perform regardless if it was the system?

Yeah.  He succeeded in Washington, and flopped in Buffalo.  Question is why.  Maybe it wasn't a good fit in Buffalo, but if he came cheaply enough (i.e., no $49M deal), I'd consider taking a chance on him here.  It's not like he shit the bid everywhere he went.

Just kidding, Dockery got picked up by the skins.... Is it just me or do the skins seem to sign everyone to an outrageous contract? Does the salary cap not apply to them or what?

Most of these contracts the Skins deal out are backloaded, so if they cut the player, then oh well.

I think I read that year 5 of the Haynesworth deal would count as 27M against a cap if there is one then.
