Whaaaaa? This looks bad all around.

1st, it's the Lions! 0-16.

2nd, Nate a #2? Maybe, maybe, but I think the Lions will regret making Nate a #2 receiver.

3rd, 7 million in guaranteed money? Really? He is definitely not going to be a Steeler if he is looking for that payday.

Going from the SB champs to the first winless team during a 16 game schedule. Wow. Hope you paid dude.

Maybe Nate thrives as a #2, maybe not.  I don't see it myself, but if he can get more money and move up in the rotation, more power to him.

But I certainly don't want the Steelers to go nuts trying to find money to keep him.

Maybe Nate breaks out of his 51% catch rate over the past few years and starts holding on to about 10% more.  I don't know.  IMO, he's the proto #3 WR, but maybe he makes the leap to consistency with more thrown his way.  If that doesn't make sense to you, it doesn't make sense to me, either.  I like the kid, but if he goes... Oh well.  Nice knowin' ya, Nate.

More reps for Sweed in camp is a good thing.

Ditto that.
Can't see paying him $7M per.  He didn't get hit in the head and think he just won SBXLIII MVP, did he?

I thought I heard something on the NFL Network yesterday when they were talkin' about a Kerry Cahrins extension that Tennessee was taking a "long look" at Washington.

Whatevs.
