T.O. Released

Quote
The Dallas Cowboys have released controversial wide receiver Terrell Owens, sources told ESPN's Michael Smith late Wednesday.
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones did not deny the team is discussing the possible release of Owens in late February.
"That Stephen and I were debating about Terrell, that's just misinformation," Jones said regarding his son, Cowboys vice president Stephen Jones at the time. "That's just not accurate. I don't know where that comes from. That's just total misinformation."
The Cowboys paid Owens a $12 million signing bonus just last year, included as part of a new four-year, $34 million deal.
Owens caught 69 passes for 1,052 yards and 10 touchdowns this season.

Cowboys extended his contract last season to 4 years and now take a $9M cap hit for the release. Jerry Jones is a friggin' genius!

OK fine I'll say it...
T.O. to the Steelers, now here me out.
Veteran team
SB champs
Running game ranked 23rd last year
We lost our Home Run threat when Washington left
However are we now a passing team versus a running team
Are there enough balls to go around
And the FINAL most important question....
Could he behave knowing that the team he is on has a legitmate chance to win the SB, and secondly could he realize that if he screws up, just this much, he'll be flying a cargo plane full of rubber dog shit out of Hong Kong!
Brinker
Now that being said...it would take a miracle for that to happen

Go back to sleep, Brinkman, no one wants TO here.
Was just thinking this morning, as ESPN was showing the story and rolling clips from TO's blowup after the loss to the Steelers: that was when he was bitching about Witten getting all the passes, and when he was dropping shit right and left, but if the Steelers winning tilted ownership's opinion of TO being a team guy... Then the Steelers have gotten TO fired twice. Once, after we creamed the living shit out of the then-undefeated Iggles (2004), and now after coming back from 13-3 to win 20-13 (2008).
Seems like we get his ass fired regularly, and also win the SB within one season of doing so. That being the case, I would hereby like to see TO go to the Ravens, Browns, and Bungles, please. In any order.

No there isn't...TOe needs a pair. You won't find any willing donors either.
That said, one thing I would love to see if TOe were a Steeler, is the entire Heinz field booing him as soon as he starts his primadonna dance in the EZ.

Wouldn't you love to see a duo of TO and Johnson at the Bengals! LMFAO, could there be a more dysfunctional duo in the entire universe? But the TO to Ravens scenario wouldn't surprise a bit. It would stunt Fucco's development for the foreseeable future. BAM!

That would put any circus sideshow to shame...past, present or future.
