Cramps: so damned fun

Missed the news that Cramps singer Lux Interior died until I saw it in Time magazine in the doctor's office the other day.  According to the Cramps website, he died from "aortic dissection" that was "sudden, shocking, unexpected and totally devastating." 

I'm partial to the old stuff, Bad Music for Bad People and the like.  Hilarious psychobilly.  Definitely worth the $9. 

Saw the video of the Cramps live at the mental institution ~mid-80s, it was frickin' classic.

Ah well, all my old punks keep dying.

Yeah, I meant to post something when it happened a few weeks ago.  Songs the Lord Taught Us is my favorite.

On a side note, I was lucky to meet the guy who founded (and still runs) Ardent Studios in Memphis last year.  Did I tell you guys about that?
