Thanks for the birthday wishes!

It's been a bit of a journey over the past few days.  We lost the pregnancy and was at the hospital much of the last few days.  I'm just trying to be an emotional support to my wife as I don't know much else to do.

As such, didn't do much on my b-day.  But hope to celebrate some time this weekend.

Work, as is likely the case for most, takes up a ton of time now.  I recall Finny's 40th, back when my job allowed me to be on the non-work related 'Net all day.  Not the case now.  Not only b/c of policy but b/c of all of the damn work I have now.  Thought about doing the bsg.com draft but knew I'd be 'that guy' who grinds everything to a halt by absence.

Put in a new backyard a few weekends ago.  Live in the city so backyards aren't more than 15x20.  Put in a stone patio, sod, stone walkway, flowers, bushes, etc.  Felt good to get some green in the gray/brown city-scape.

I'm trying to keep up with the draft.  Can't believe it's only a few weeks away.  It used to seem to take forever to get here.  Though, I guess playing into early February reduces the off-season...something Browns fans know nothing of.

Don't have a target for the draft. Would be happy w/ a guy like Mack or Wood, or a CB or DL.  Kinda think we'll trade up in the 2nd or 3rd round.

I hope the Pens make a strong push into the playoffs.  Seem to have played really well lately and I really like the pickups of Kunitz and Guerin.  Heck, Crosby got into a fight the other night.

Start of baseball season is a good thing.  Will try to attend a few O's games this year..especially when the BoSox are in town.  Camden is a great park.

Thanks again for the b-day wishes

Sorry to hear, my friend.  You don't know what to do, but you're doing the right thing.  It'll take some time.

Sorry to hear, bud.  I can empathize.  It's a tough thing to live through.

Start of baseball season is a good thing.  Will try to attend a few O's games this year..especially when the BoSox are in town.  Camden is a great park.

And...

While I'm at it, considering the results of Baltimore's first couple games...

So they don't feel left out, for good measure...

It's painful to admit...
