One less team lookin' at OT in R1.

Edit:  Wait a sec...don't they still have another R1 pick?  Either way, very, very good move for Philly, IMO.  Top notch OT and all it really cost them was a Day Two (R3?) in '09 and a late rounder in '10.

He's miles ahead of any OT they likely take that late.  The only thing to worry about is if he gets big contract syndrome.  He bitched to get one, now will he perform up to it?  If he does, Philly comes out way ahead.

Glen Quagmire: Hey honey, why don't you turn around and show me the Lower East side?
Transvetite: [in deep voice] Sure.
Glen Quagmire: WHOA! Transvestite! Back off! Wait a sec, pre-op or post-op?
Transvetite: Pre-op.

I would have definitely done it but the guy was a complete shithead last year. I would have gambled to get a talent like him in black and gold but who knows how this will play out. Like you said he might get his contract and turn into a fat cat.

Who knows how pick 1.32 will turn out either I guess.
