Yeah, Ballard had some great stuff.  He was one of my Killer B's in the 80s (Beckett, Burroughs, Ballard, Bukowksi, Bowles...).   Remember going through Crash, Concrete Island, High Rise, and a bunch of the short stories in quick succession.  Never saw the movie of Crash, though.  Or Empire of the Sun.

I love Crash (the movie) although I readily admit if it hadn't been directed by Cronenberg or written by Ballard, I would probably hate it.

You know, if you need some extra cash, I'd bet that you could get Oat to reprint and replace those binders; Brinker could frame them in some rare, handsewn Italian leather; and BleedGreen could pawn them off for top dollar on craigslist.
