True dat.  Plus, the last two games weren't shown in my market and I'm usually good for at least that many.

Missed most of the Lions game, setting in a new concrete stoop.  PITA project, mixing 80# bags of Quikrete in the wheelbarrow, slopping them into the forms before the mix started to tighten, working with concrete tint, etc.  Just stopped raining yesterday, so took the forms off, and pretty happy with the result, except the tinting sucked and will need to be re-stained.  Point being, I saw the 4Q stand against the mighty Lions, and a few other odd plays (Wallace TD).  Hard to get really excited about watching the TiVo for academic reasons.

Stains game was not televised here, so went to see Paranormal Activity with the Mrs. and the MiL.  I kind of like this sort of style in horror movies (cf. Blair Witch), but found this (and Blair) disappointing and not scary.  There were moments, too few.  MiL found it kind of boring.  These forays into handheld simply lack enough information to keep things interesting.  Sure, the unseen is scarier than the overdone Hollywood stuff, but I still need, uh, something.  Oh, so we go out to the car, turn on ESPN radio, Steelers score to go up 24-14.  And I'm pissed off and cussing.  They're like What's wrong, we're winning... And I'm all fuming, If we just scored a TD, that means this game was just 17-14 in the third quarter, which is scarier than anything I just watched over the past two hours...

I don't know, having read various synopses of the game, whether I can bring myself to even watch it without puking up in my own mouth.

Someone other than Arians must be secretly calling plays, but Arians got loose and, at a minimum, started calling the 1st down plays in the 2nd qtr becasue every single one of them wa a running play right up the middle into Rogers for no gain.

Ben waived him off after one of the long pass plays got them inside the 10, going no huddle.  That is probably the only reason they scored.

Another one of those where I felt the opponent was never in it, but somehow the scoreboard didn't reflect it - just like the other 5 games so far.  Totally dominated the yardage differential.  The special teams TD by Cribbs didn't help.  I didn't see all of the turnover fiasco at the end of the third, but 3 consecutive turnovers for us were thankfully offset by a nearly as inept 2 by them.

Parker was a little better than he'd been early on, but still feel Mendenhall is the better option right now.

Oline continues to have the appearance of improvement, but this week may well change that trend.

One of the announcers commented that in last week's game versus the Lions, after the pick 6 that Ben threw, he went over to BA and said let me call the next series. 

For those that watched that lovely series, we all know how that ended...

Coincidentally (not), they pretty much went no huddle that whole series.
