Agreed, 1-3 would not be good. Maybe the patsies will do us a favor and knock off the Ravens, but I'm not holding my breath. Wins by the Steelers and Pats would probably calm some folks down a bit.

I thought the head-to-head win vs. the Titans might be worth something later on. Not looking that way right now.
A non-conference loss doesn't really hurt a team.
Sucks to lose to the Bengals, but having the tie-breaker over the Bolts would probably be more valuable.
But talk is cheap. Just pound the fuckers into the ground.

IMO, if we drop this one the season is pretty much toast. Would seem we'd need to go 10-2 the rest of the way, which would not be too likely at that point.
Plus, the Chargers suck. I think they keep taking steps backwards, especially on defense. Plus LT has been gimpy, and isn't usually much against us anyway. Time for a classic fucking beatdown... now or never.

You know, they win this game then with DET and CLE following, they could realistically be 4-2 when they host Minnesota and the Farting Fav-ruhs. Take care of home field and a 5-2 record going into the BYE makes people forget about the iffy start.

Bears are an OK team. Bengals blow. And let me say this: every media idiot loves the Chargers, but they blow too. No running game right now. No Jamal Williams at DT. Lights Out must be all distracted with Tila, because he's MIA. This Chargers team looks soft and one-dimensional.
We're desperate. We're at home.
By the time this thing gets to the 4Q, it's over.
Steelers 34, Chargers 17.
