I hope we never score another motherfucking touchdown again in the history of the franchise.  I just love field goals THAT much.

A game the Bungals had no business winning. Should have been 21-0 in the first.  BA made some bad playcalls in the RZ and on the final drive. Cinci had 8-9 guys in the box on 1st down, and the Steelers should have gone for the kill by playaction pass.

Sweed couldn't catch a cold on a diseased pig farm. Time for #17 to be the 3rd receiver.

No #34 all day. WTF?

Too many mental errors, and the inability of the defense to close out a game is a concern. It can't be all Troy missing. Woodley hasn't done fuck all this year, and Harrison is either double teamed or held. They need to get their shit togther quick, because Balty looks like the real deal this year.

All right on the money.

This is Tomlin's first real test.

He needs to get this team back on track.

NOW.

Anyone notice all of the holding that was not called...sour grapes...but it was getting ridiculous out there.

Here's what I hated today, in order:

1. Going into Kill-Clock-Mode with a five-point lead and NINE minutes to go. WHAT THE FUCK? It's a one-possession game, dipshits, and you're not throwing it, like you've done all over the place for the entire game? Fault: Coaching.

2. Going for it on 4th at the end of the half. Up 13-0, granted maybe they were pressing because of missed opportunities, but why not pin them deep and take a shutout into the locker room? Fault: Coaching.

3. Giving up the fake punt. In that situation, we should have been expecting a fake punt. Fault: Coaching.

4. Little pressure on Palmer in the 2nd half. Fault: Execution; plus, the Bengals just did well in protection, and sometimes, the other team just has a good game in some area.

5. No Mendenahall, zero, zip. Fault: Coaching.

I'm sorry, but I give the goat of this game to Tomlin.

Meh.  Maybe it's because I just flat out hate them and don't want it to be true, but color me unimpressed with victories over KC, Cleveland and an injury-decimated San Diego club.  We'll get a feel for how legit they are in New England next week.  Can't fault them for beating the teams on their schedule, and they most certainly look better than the Steelers right now, but if Pittsburgh played that same schedule (including SD without LT) they would be sitting at 3-0 as well.

It doesn't bode well that the Steelers can't finish games against teams they should beat though.

Add to the list of issues the decision to not go for it on 4th and goal inside the 1.  We went for it last week and made it in the same situation.  And that Reed confidence thing I was considering is crap, since had we made it, the extra point would have been longer than the FG.

2 weeks in a row we take our foot off the gas and lose to a weaker team.

Folks can say they're not impressed by Baltimore's wins, but they're beating the crap out of the weak sisters they face.  We are most decidedly not.
