2009 Draft discussion thread

Jets make the big move for Sanchez. History's against these junior QBs, and next year is so much better.
Bengals took Mr. Tits. Fucking idiots...
...only outdone by Undead Al taking Darrius Heyward-Bey at 7. IMO, he's a R3, R4 guy. Plenty of speed, but not much of a receiver. Every year one of these guys (Troy Williamson, ad nauseam) gets taken way too early and flops. BUST.
Jags got Monroe at 8, best bargain so far.
Goose was off some, but still better than most IMO.
Curious to see who takes Raji.

The Pack took him. Man, the Jets gave up some stuff to get Sanchez. Guess ol' Not-Buddy Ryan likes the guy. I hope Sanchez is another what's-his-face-other-USC-guy-backup-2-Warner. I'd laugh my arse off.
No surprise that Davis wanted the fastest guy in the draft, fits the MO.

I'm curious about who Cleveland has in their sites with that trade back. They still get #17 and that extra 2nd rounder. Coleman should start on their DL, so that's another plus. Goose said their primary needs are WR and pass rusher.
Only H-Bey and Crabby are off the board at WR.

Tough flipping back in forth between draft and Pens game! Go Pens!!
Some really bad picks out there
Heyward-Bey ---way too high to pick him there
Crabtree will be a steal for 49ers
Really glad Browns did not get Curry
So far so good

Maclin to the Eagles...wow that is huge for them. Maclin, Westbrook and Jackson on the same field...scary.

Thinking if Oher gets past Detroit, we might have a chance.
