Steelers reach one-year deal with CB Ratliff
by Alex Marvez

The Pittsburgh Steelers have agreed to a one-year contract with corner back Keiwan Ratliff, FOXSports.com has learned.

Terms of the contract weren't immediately available.

A six-year vet, Ratliff started four games for the Indianapolis Colts last season and finished with 32 tackles and two interceptions.

He spent four years as a spot starter in Cincinnati after being drafted out of Florida.

Hopefully, he'll become redundant after the draft and he can be cut w/out penalty.

Well the Bungles don't have Tomlin and Dick. The guy had some great numbers at Florida (all time pick leader and leader in punt return yards I believe) and if he was signed on the cheap I'm definitely willing to give him a chance as a nickel or dime guy.

Well that's the thing- the Steelers need bodies at that position, right now.  How many CBs do we carry (not including Madison) 4 or 5?

Gay and Taylor, Deshea, then hopefully a draftee, followed by a competition between Ratliff and Bryant.  Not a bad insurance policy now for an injury or depth.

Hopefully was a "cheap" signing.  When it comes to Secondary, I will trust in Tomlin.  Hope he sees or knows something
