Of course it's an absurd exercise.  How absurd? Camp has yet to start, and still the Vikings jumped from 14 to 9 because...

They're ranked this high in anticipation of Brett Favre joining them.


That shit's just plain funny.  I'd've dropped them 5 slots for exactly the same reason.
