Football is on TV!!   yeh

god I hate Chris Collinsworth and his smug face.  I said out loud, "Finally, Madden's done."  and then they said Collinsworth would take over and promptly cursed the TV.  The upside is he'll only be calling 2 Steeler games this year on Sunday night.

ya its awesome to finally watch some football.  but it really sucked seeing how pretty good the Titans looked on O.  I know its against the bills, but very methodical.  dont like opening against them right now!

Crap, forgot about the HOF game.  And the Titans in the opener is a tough one.  Should know where the Steelers stand pretty quick.

Just remember his prediction that the Cards would beat us in the Super Bowl, that'll make ya chuckle every time. Although, I think he's a decent announcer.

I don't.  I think he's a loudmouth moron.  Sorry, no offense to you intended, SDW.  Just my opinion.

Yeah, I started foaming at the mouth and drooling when I realized that an actual game was about to happen.  Even preseason is better than no football at all.

Honestly, I used to despise Collinsworth.  He used to be the most annoying, out of a stable of annoying announcers at CBS, IMO.  However, I think someone told him that he needed to start being more objective, and he has for the most part.  I don't hate him nearly as much as I used to.  In fact, I kinda like him.  (For a Bungle...)

I like Collinsworth.  I don't think he takes himself too seriously, like the Randy Cross types, and I also think he does a good job of mentioning things the average observer may not realize or may not be thinking about.

I think he remains fairly objective, unlike Dierdorf who just kisses the collective @sses of whichever team is winning or whoever he thinks is going to win.

Chis is probably a Steeler hater waaay deep down, but he a'ight.
