If it was my father-in-law's memorial, I'd have to be there. I plan on doing a 15 minute roast. He wouldn't want it any other way.

Unfortunately, my dad-in-law passed away on Thursday and his memorial service is on Saturday.
No offense, but I think they had a quicker turnaround time with MJ's service.

Hell, I'm still trying to figure out why I get charged the same price for preseason games that I get charged for regular season games.
Fucking ripoff.
ITZ CUZE OFF DEM CHIEPE AZZ RONEHYS!!!!11111111111111
I blame the league.
I blame the Rooney's for not signing Vick to a 30 year contract worth 1 billion dollars.

Otis, I agree but it's what my mom-in-law wants. Since dad-in-law has been cremated, my mom-in-law didn't want people (meaning us 'kids') missing work during the week, so that's why it's 1-1/2 weeks later. Hey, she was married to the man for 52 years, so whatever she wants to do is OK by us!
Pgh, he had been diagnosed with a brain tumor back in October of '08. The last 3 weeks have frankly been brutal on the family, so while we all miss him, he's in a much better place now.
I have always said, if I had to hand-pick the in-laws, I couldn't have done any better. Fantastic people! It's the sister-in-law (contol freak-in-law) that would probably flip out if we went to the game.

Sorry about your father-in-law.
Thanks, Leigh, you're a sweetheart!

I should have put a smiley...was just kidding.
Cremation is my choice too. Maybe Penso could make a coozie for my urn.
Hopefully the good memories will eventually erase these last few weeks.

My hubby went with mom-in-law to help with info on the cremation. When he came back, he told me I'd be glad to know that yes, there are Steeler urns available! Good to know, isn't it? Of course, a stadium cup or two would also work...
No offense taken, dude!

I want my remains formed into a coin that can be flipped before a home Steelers game.
Tits on one side, ass on the other.

Oh, not really. But for you I try to show my soft side.

Gotta pass that suggestion on to the Rooneys!

I think we are looking for the supple side.
