Justin Hartwig (as opposed to Wig the Greater, #43).  4 years, $10M, $2.1M guar-on-TEED.

I'm not the biggest Hartwig fan.  Better than Mahan was, but so's my grandma.  Like the young pipeline of C talent behind him.  But this seems to be a low-cost deal, etc.  

Could be a good move if Legursky or Stapleton or Q can't step up next year; if they do, it's backup money plus.

I still think they should have tried to sign Reed before anybody else, but it's hard to be upset with this deal.  It gives the FO more time to groom the C of the future and keeps them from making a "need" pick in Rd 1 of '10.
