but to save you a shortcut through the madness AJ, do a google search on MGS, then select the cached mode to view the web page.  that sometimes works to get through the initial barrier.

I tells ya...it's a fuckin' conspiracy vs. anything sports related.  Accessibility to sports and fantasy sites is slowly dwindling...yet the biggest time wasters out there (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, etc.) are still up and running.

I can walk around my office at pretty much any point in the day and I'll see a bunch of these hens updating their "status" (like anybody gives a shit...) or playing some stupid ass Facebook game that was recommended to them by some fuckin' friend they haven't talked to since high school.

Goddamned redonkulous...

I had this conversation with some friends over the wekend.  Sounds liek a lot of their offices have Facebook, and the like, blocked, but so many people have Blackberry/Iphone type devices so they surf on their phones if the site is blocked.

I'm sure it is only a matter of time before I get blocked from MGS.

There's always the iPhone option ...

I wonder how they blocked the site.  As said last night, an alias can be setup but if they're blocking the ip then it wouldn't matter.  Worth a try though.

Sure, I'm willin' to give it shot.

Don't know if it's an IP block.  I can see the home page, but if I click on the forum, profile, my messages, etc. sections, I can't see shit.  Tried viewing via cached mode, no go.

Honestly, I think the firewall blocks are linked to buzz words because there are plenty of sites I can access (but shouldn't be able to) because of their nondescript URL naming.  For example, a lot of poker sites use the word "poker" in the URL and I'm blocked from viewing them.  But, for those that don't, I have no problem accessing them.

Maybe "Steelers" in MGS is what's causing it?  Didn't we used to access this site through an Invision URL?  Is there anyway I can get here...through...ther e??  Like a passthru or something?? 

Yeah, I know...I know.  I have no fuckin' idea what I'm talkin' about...
