Week 2 Power Rankings
The new calculated rankings will take a few weeks to simmer down. Teams like the Titans and Steelers, with actual defenses, come up lacking, while teams like the Saints come up ranked higher? I estimate that by week 4 or so, strength of schedule and other factors will even this out a bit.
Until then, you have my subjective rankings, with the rankings from before the season in parentheses.
1. Pittsburgh Steelers, 1-0 (1)<

Great point about Van Pelt, I was thinking the same exact thing watching that game. If Arians would realize that 2+2 doesn't equal 6, he could be running some variation of that offense. All things considered, Ben >>>>>>>>>> Edwards, Moore seems about Jackson's equal, our receivers walk all over theirs, TO or no TO. Heath is better than whoever they employ, etc. They probably got us on the O-line, but so does Bayside High. Point is, pull your head out of your ass and run an offense that suits the players on your roster.
There is all this talk among the Steeler coaches and even Ben that they can't run the no huddle the whole time, like they are saving it for fucking Christmas or something. Hogwash, I say. The Bills didn't seem to have any trouble running it (until that clusterfuck at the end) and there is much more talent on the Steelers offense. Run the no-huddle early, or every other series, or whatever. Get a lead and then go to the predictable running game if you want to try to run out the clock.
I like you rankings too, although I would flip Philly and Green Bay and would rank the Pattys over the Jets and NO.
