Season Record:
Best Bets (i.e. #1 Lock) = 1-0
Locks (includes Best Bets) = 2-1
Consolation Picks = 2-0

Nice start to the season last week.  Let's see if I can keep this going.  Woot.  *Edit* - just got the update that Boldin and Breaston are in and Welker is out.  Oh well,...

Locks
Lock #1 - New England @ New York Jets (+3.5) - If there's one team that knows how to respond to trash talkin', it's the evil Pastries.  I'll take the Beardy Bastards over a rookie QB and rookie HC anyday.  Plus, with all the Jets/Sanchez fluffery of their Week 1 performance, people quickly and conveniently forget the two INTs he offered up on a silver platter that were dropped by Texan defenders.  Going against a decent home dog is usually trouble, but I like New England (even without Welker) to win and cover.

Lock #2  - Arizona @ Jacksonville (-3) - 'Zona's record coming East is poor, piss poor.  They didn't win a single east coast game last year (0-5) and I expect that record to be 0-6 by the end of the day.  I'll take the Jags at home minus the FG to run all over the Cards.  SB runners up start the season off 0-2.

Lock #3 - Seattle @ San Francisco (-1) - Singletary has that group fired up and playing well on defense, but I like the Seahags to get the outright win here.  With a healthy Hasselbeck, that group is one of the quieter high powered offenses in the league and so long as the defense can keep Gore in check, Seattle moves to 2-0.

Going by those first two picks, I'm thinking SF is the pick here.
