Thought this might be interesting to those golfies....I'm volunteering as a marshall at this week's event in Hunt Valley, MD.  #7

I'm just hoping I don't screw anything up.  Heard horror stories of marshalls knocking golf balls deeper in the rough as they tried to fend off the crowd, etc.

Should be nice weather (mid 60s).  Don't think it is expected to rain.

Cool and blustery wind conditions.  A small amount of rain.

Pro-Am today.  40 groups of 5.  Saw guys like Tom Watson, Nick Price, O'Meara, Fuzzy, etc.

Was a marshal on hole 7.  Par 3...220 yards.  Sand trap in the middle before a significant upward grade to the green.  At least two shanked behind a house to the left...one was nicely played on to the green.  The green was fast and ran to the left.  Most who made it on to the green were on the right and the fringe ate the backspin and stopped any roll.
