Has anyone seen the John Woo movie, Red Cliff?  It's an epic Chinese historical tale set around 200 AD.  There were subtitles, but I never mind those as I usually feel like a native speaker after 10 minutes.

I caught it on the HD Net Movies channel and highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys foreign films.  In this case Woo took a little Hollywood style to China.  If you liked films such as Hero with Jet Li or House of Flying Daggers then you might like this one for the story telling aspect.  However, combat in Red Cliff is mostly realistic rather than the fantasy style of the other two.
