Has any defending champ been this bad? Has any ever lost to a team as bad as the 2009 Raiders? or the 2009 Chiefs? Or the 2009 Browns? Naturally, none has lost to three teams this fucking bad the following year.


1999 Denver (though they'd won two in a row, Elway had retired, and Davis blew out his knee)
1987 Giants
1988 Redskins

...i mean, none of these teams are even the ballpark of how awful this team has been. That's how the 2009 Steelers will be remembered.

WDC!!!  Yeah, they probably take that prize.  Some teams may have had a worse record but it's touch to imagine one that lost to three sorrier teams in 4 weeks.  The only thing missing is a loss to Detroit.  And there's not a doubt in my mind that this team could get that done.
