Locks of the Week - Week #16

Had the Chargers (+1.5) on Thursday, but it doesn't count.

Early games, I like for Locks Jags (+10) and Pittsburgh (-3).

Best Bets (i.e. #1 Lock) = 5-7
Locks (includes Best Bets) = 19-15-1
Consolation Picks = 20-13 

Season records updated through this week.  With all the craziness the past 2 or 3 weeks, I haven't been able to really pay much attention to other games.  I took a few here and there, but basically broke even which is essentially where I stand for the year.

As to this week, unfortunately, I got Steelers @ (-3) even though our Yahoo league had them at (-2.5).  I knew I wouldn't get that number at gametime, but whatever.  A push is better than a loss, I guess.  Interestingly, it's the first one this year.

Also, so much for the Jags hanging close with New England.  Some teams play the role of spoiler well, while others...

We'll see how the rest of the season plays out.  My goal is to at least get back to .500 for #1s and finish up in the black overall, when it's all said and done.  If I can manage that, it would be two years in a row.
