Given pre-season talk, I expected him to play more than he did and was hoping to see some explosiveness.  As it turned out, I only really noticed him when he was jogging to the sidelines.  Like "oh, Ziggy Hood was in on that play".

Just wondering if anyone out there was paying closer attention than I was.

The book on Hood was that he'd take a year to learn to play 3-4 end.  And it did; he had a big hand in the win over the Ravoons and made a play or two versus Miami, IIRC.

I'm excited to see what he does next year, I think he's gonna be a heck of a player.

What Penso said.  Too early to tell, but good signs in the last two games of the season.

Ditto that.  We went to the Ratbirds game in Pittsburgh & before, seeing his jersey in a store, my sister was like "Who's Hood?".  She knew by the end of that game.
He could be a playmaker.
I'm hopeful.

He'll be the weak side starting DE next year, and he'll do a hell of a job. Keisel had his best year IMO last year, and Ziggy is about to show him how it's done when you have Harrison and Timmons getting all the double teams.
