Aikman completely wrong, as usual. The fumble was Farvre's fault.

Got to watch until it was 14-14 and then came back in right before the Saints took the lead after the turnover. Man, lots of fumbles in this one.
Thought the Vikes had it wrapped up but then Fav-ruh went and tossed an INT.
Now the Saints should be lining up for the winner in OT but they're running a play on 3rd down for some reason.

HEll yeah! Saints to the SB. There goes Fav-ruh limping across the field.
There will be some drunken cajuns tonight. ALERT: the city will be closed tomorrow.

Justice is served. Vikes fans sold their souls to the devil and he collected earlier than they argained. Glad I don't have to deal with anymore Viking bandwagon hysteria here in MPLS, These fans are the most fickle of any fanbase in sports.

The Vikings ball security was a crime against humanity. Seriously, they controlled yardage, TOP, and had the chance to put this thing away several times. Brett's last throw was stupid as shit, but they should never have gotten to the point where they were relying on a last-sec FG anyway. Oh well. I do have some respect for the old man for getting out there and gutting it out, but isn't it appropriate that the Vikes die by the Favre?

Query: Who's drunker right now, people in Green Bay or people in New Orleans?

Favre's pick was inexcuseable. Fucking stupid, to be exact. And, it cost me my Vikings 5:1 SB bet.
Still did OK as I took Indy (-8) and Vikes (+4). For whatever reason tho, at the last second, the O/U (54.5) looked juicy in the NO/Minn game so I tossed a little on that too. Still came out ahead, just not as much as I woulda been.
Still deciding about the big game. Indy (+5) seems a little high. NO and Brees might get overwhelmed though whereas #18 has been in more big games than pretty much the entire Saints roster. Have to see how it goes this week.
Back to Favre's INT in regulation for a second, what killed me about the end of that series was the...*surprise*...playcalling. Right after they got on the NO side of the field they went too conservative too soon. Taylor has that nice run for a first to the 33 yard line. At that point, you're still staring at a 50 yarder. Way too tough (even in a dome) FTW. Ya gotta get another 7 to 10 yards to make it a much more reasonable attempt, right? So, what does Minny call? Run, run, pass...INT. Why not go PAP on 1st for a quick strike? Run a FB dive or somethin' on 2nd to setup a nice straight on FG attempt from 43 yards? Didn't make any sense to me at all.
Then, factor in Brett's bonehead throw when he coulda easily run for a nice chunk of yardage in the flat. He probably gets to the 30 without anyone getting within 5 yards of him...easily.

Might be one of the biggest, if not THEE biggest fuckup plays in postseason history.

I might rank it a little below the end of SB 30. Plus, I was rooting for the Saints.
