Hello, fellow MSG friends. Long time now, no post. Indulge me a moment. I thought 2009 was tough and 2010 would be a better year. Let me re-cap so far:
1. My "position" at my job was terminated, variety of issue, sprung on me on Friday. 1/8. I was offered an alternate position at @ 20% paycut but it would take a week with no pay to determine if I would be asked back. OK, I'm still employed.
2. Friday 1/22 6:30 AM phone call from sister in the Burgh. Mom has been discovered in her apt. unconciuos after being there fr 48 hours. Turns out it's a major stroke, which I found out after my company generously flew me into Pittsburgh. Tough, tough week, luckily me, my two sisters and my brother were able to all get together to visit Mom. Mom's OK, long road to recovery.
3. 6:30 tonight  my husband's brother called, has cancer, 6 month prognosis. Remember, my dad-in-law just passed away in August. We are telling my mom-in-law on Wednesday.

Un-freaking believable.

Pray for us!
