Game would be more or less over if not for Luongo. Definitely a deflection, but it was hardly a hard shot to begin with.
Why is Stastny on the team?

Luongo getting a nice ovation on his home ice by his home nation fans with every damn save but his rebound control could only be classified as "Loooooooooo-se" at best.
That'll cost 'em.
USA has been right there and laid a ton of hits. Do the young legs, playing one game less, and laying the wood, help to counteract the home ice boost late in the third? Remains to be seen.
Ive been thinking the USA needed to win this on the PP but the chances have been hard to come by on the road and Canada's had the number one PK in the tourney. Even despite stupidly omitting Jordan Staal.
I pity dem Canadian foos if we score the next goal. U S A
Make like Burkie's gay son and stay out of the box. RIP, win it for him.

After those 2 posts I had the same feeling I had right after whatever his name dropped the pick against the Raiders.
And a Butch Goring goal to make an 80s Flyer fan cringe.
Miller has been money again.
Think there'd be a few more goals if the ice wasn't like a dirt road?
Is this sudden death? Four on four?
**Never mind**
Overtime rules: If a game is tied at the end of regulation, a 4-on-4, sudden-death overtime period will be played (five-minute OT in preliminary round, 10-minute OT in playoff round and 20-minute OT in gold-medal game). If the game is not decided in overtime, it will go to a shootout.

Congrats to Team Crosby and the other 19 guys on the roster. Well deserved.

That 12 year old kid from the Pens is pretty good.
That was pretty entertaining game. As nervous as I am during a Steelers game.
Since I was 5 years old, the coolest player in any sport to me, has always been the goaltender in hockey. Miller was fun to watch. The weakest part of his game is his beard.

Tremendous hockey game. Great display for all the world to see and I'd like to thank the NHL owners, however releuctantly, for making their players available...and their arenas empty for nearly 3 weeks in between the end of football and start of baseball...and an extra special thanks to NBC for showing the game on HD here in the Burgh.
If its the last time the pro's participate in the olympics than a fitting farewell as the best hockey player ever scores in a highly entertaining sudden death fashion.
