The article says Batch and Dixon will compete for the #2 job, but I thought Dixon performed well (as could be expected) in his start last season. Give Charlie the clipboard and continue grooming Dixon - the Steelers have something there.
Agreed. Saves a step anyway. If Batch comes into the game as #2, Dixon would be on the field within 20 plays. Assuming we run the ball on 15 of those.
