Just watching the Pens' seed for now, and assuming Buffalo's a lock in the 3-hole.  Will look at matchups when the all the shit at the bottom of the division starts to sink into place.

4 PIT 74gp 42 25 7 91pts

Last night's games 3/25

It's the time of the year where it's ok to root for dirtbags like the Rangers, but it still feels dirty. Kept us tied but New Jersey still has a game in hand and of course the tiebreaker. Montreal is playing some good hockey and I'm pretty sure that the laws of karma won't allow us to lose 3 straight to the Wings, Capitals, and Flyers.

Not for me.  I need points outta Lunkwist to make a push for 2nd place in MGSFH.

Looking like we'll be without Geno again Saturday, and probably Gonch:

I don't know what the extent of the injury is, but unless it's a bloody stump he's going to have to man-up soon.

I agree. They looked a little iffy in the first but I think that's in part because Philly came out desperate and they were kind of weathering the whole storm. They dominated the 2nd and 3rd though and Fluery was one silly bounce from a shutout.

That was probably the best game Letang has had as a Penguin. He fucking screams potential but it seems like he can't put it all together. Today he put a ton of shots on net, played physical and smart in both zones, and put on a skating clinic in the defensive zone.

Boston wins and Philly loses. Good, let Washington and Philly beat the shit out of each other in the first round.

The little debbies drop a crucial point, and lose the game in hand and the tie breaker in one fell swoop.

Thanks Boston. I watched alot of the game before being completely bored out of my mind and switching to the St. Louis/Chicago game. Every time I watch the Devils play someone other than the Penguins they look completely average. How we lost 6 of 6 to this team...

Monster game tonight against the Tampa Bay Bugsy's, a team that not only played last night but has also stunk up the joint for the last 15 games or so. We need to come out and get 2 and start to put a stranglehold on this thing.

thats an easy question to answer.  going 0-21 on the PP against them fo sho.  That crappy perimeter passing with no player movement gearing towards an open shot from the blue line is a walk in the park for the devils.

Yeah the whole playing every PP like it's a 5 on 3 got pretty old by midseason. It's improved a bit with Poni out in front but I just wish he's play more physical for his size. Bugsy he ain't.

Also, no Gonch or Geno again tonight:
