So the Vikes by elimination could look to us if the Cards can only get to the 20s. 

I would find that funny as hell.  Favre, hoping yet another team will mortgage their future trying to get him a ring.  GB responded by grabbing what turns out to be a pretty darn good QB that fell into their lap.  Would be even better to see Minny not only take his replacement, but trade up to do so.

Even if he comes back for one more dead man's dance, they have to know the future is short with him, and non-existent with the others.  If the Favre Experiment has shown Chilly and Zygmont Wylfigger anything, it's the value of a franchise QB.  I think they very well could move up to outbid the others.  The rest of the team doesn't have a lot of glaring holes, so why not?
