I suppose a 6>4 makes it looks like a harsher penalty than just a straight up 4, even though they will basically be the same.

I'd like to invite Goodell to fix my TV.

So what happens if the case in Reno finds Ben guilty of something, even something of a lesser charge?  Does this punishment cover everything contained in that case as well?  Or if he is found guility of "something" does he get more suspenstions?  Hell he could be out half of the season if that is the case!  The Reno situation does not seem like it is going to amount to anything but then again the GA thing didn't amount to anything legal either. angry4

Ben can't be "guilty" of anything with the woman in Reno, because (as with the Milledgeville case) there is no criminal prosecution.  He may be found "liable" in the civil case, but Goodell was aware of that potential when he handed down the suspension, so IMO the outcome of the civil case is moot in terms of further action by the Commish.

Ben could be guilty of something in the future.  Assuming he's ever charged.

So let me get this straight

Big Ben was never charged, but just accused of sexual assault...he got a 6 game suspension

Michael Vick killed dogs, ran a dog fighting ring, spent 2 years in PRISON...he got a 2 game suspension.

If you think race did not play a roll in this you are crazy.

BB is as good as gone. Rooney interview just now on ESPN news he said he can not talk about trades or possible trades concerning BB.

If they were not shopping him wouldn't the scripted answer be "we are not shopping our QB" or "Ben is our QB"

Don't forget the Ron Mexico incident.

It takes a Block of courage to make up a name and sleep with a woman knowing you have herpes.

The DTF incident = 3x worse than Mexico.  Seriously.  I'm not even being ludicrously ironic, and then denying it an absurd fashion.

Vick was suspended for the entire time he was in prison. If you recall, Goodell had to make the decision to reinstate him when he was released. Vick's punishment was far worse, HE DID 2 YEARS IN PRISON. I just don't see how race is a factor here.
