Here.
Don't pull up the R2-7 info, that's all default and not mine.

Interesting reads.
I'd still prefer OL though, but WTF do I know. Of the players available when they would've selected, I'da taken Bulaga and not even had to think about it.
Lotta interesting options project to being on the board in the later stages of R1, IMO.

I agree. But I think the former DB coach (Tomlin) is rightfully disgusted by our secondary's play. I could see him passing up OT guys for Haden.

Not sure I follow the cost
"The Giants receive 1.18, 1.51, and 1.55 ... the 5th rounder from the Jets for Holmes"
are both of the extras in the 5th round? I have no problem taking the CB there, if you're correct and the Bungles get Dez B (or Gresham as others predict) then the Steelers need a serious addition to the secondary.
However, if this draft is deep as people say, wouldn't that be the time to stand pat and take the quantity? Of course, if they're only giving up two 5th rounders, well, one must ask what the Steelers have traditionally done with those picks anyways.

Fixed. That was supposed to read 5.151 and 5.155, and now does.
I can see them dishing some picks to move up, and just as easily moving back in R1 for a guy like Saffold.

I have had no time to follow the draft at all this year.
But I'm in the AJ camp on this one. Can the Steelers afford to pass up good offensive tackles--again--to take a CB?

If they can train Ben to get rid of the ball quicker then maybe they can make do with the OTs they have now. You know, some drills like, snap the ball and count 1-2-3 bam! the ball is out. And if not he doesn't get the drunk chick. Make a little game of it.

Thing is, I still think they need to seal the edges better, i.e., improve OT: send Starks to RT and Colon to RG. That means you fix the OL best by targeting a LT, which we could be in range to do. A replacement for Hartwig could be found in R3 or R4 (Walton?).
But the Steelers are looking at fixing the IOL and leaving OT as is, with the stellar Tony Hills and Jon Scott and Trai Essex as backups. It seems slipshod at best.
