Fishtanks can be a hassle when you have to go the ol' well out back of the log cabin to get the water, I guess.

It's actually in the shop getting a real inspection.

Seems those Texans sold it as an accident-free car that HAD been inspected. Wrong & wrong.

So they've got two options. Make it right on their dime or come get their car and bring me back my cash.

What's the latest with the car situation?

I know a few people, not actually friends though, that have purchased cars from out of state and never had any problems.  One couple bought it on ebay and had it shipped to Colorado from the east coast.  No problems.

With my luck, I'd get screwed and spend more than if I bought something local.
