Was hearing that he had surgety on his achilles yet expected to probably be back at the end of the summer???

Not so sure about that.  When I ruptured mine and had the surgery, I could put NO WEIGHT on it for about 3 months....THEN began physical therapy.  Granted I am no professional athlete, but from what I have seen thus far, neither is he

I think it was a tear, and not a rupture, which is why the recovery time is so relatively short.  I think even for pro athletes an achilles rupture is approx 1 year.

I wonder if they could get an achilles tendon from a fresh cadaver and slap that on like they do with ACLs now?  I remember when Mark Bruener had that done and he was back in like 6 weeks kicking our ass with Jacksonville.  The term fresh cadaver is unsettling....
