Looks like Limas might've ruptured his Achilles. Looks like we can officially move him in beside 'Zo  in the second round "bust" category.

Yeah I thought there was still a chance he could rebound and maybe be the next Nate Washington. But this guy just seems like the perfect combination of bad breaks, bad hands, and bad attitude.

IR him and bring him into camp next year and whatever. Sucks cause dude could sure get open.

Maybe this injury will slow him down enough to be covered. He did a decent job catching the ball when he wasn't open.

Damn that's too bad.  It seemed like he was never going to ever amount to much but this pretty much guarantees he'll never get the chance to prove himself, at least in a Steelers uniform.

That's too bad.  Looks like a roster spot just opened up though.  And I disagree that Sweed ever flashed any bad attitude, from all I read about him he seemed like a good kid.

I think he has another year on his deal, which means 2011 will be his last chance deferred.  Why would why cut him outright if we can put him on IR?

It does suck.  I was hoping he'd surprise in a better way this year.

Well, maybe someone among the rooks and El will step it up.

Was hearing that he had surgety on his achilles yet expected to probably be back at the end of the summer???

Not so sure about that.  When I ruptured mine and had the surgery, I could put NO WEIGHT on it for about 3 months....THEN began physical therapy.  Granted I am no professional athlete, but from what I have seen thus far, neither is he

The title of this thread is misleading... Doesn't one have to start BEFORE one can be done?  From what I saw, I don't think he got started...

Touche, gentlemen.

A little simple and obvious, but nevertheless.

Touche.
