I read a quote from Shero in either the post or the trib that said he might not be ready for camp, but didn't hear anything about him missing more time than that. He was scheduled to make the trip to Haiti with talbot and Rupp but didn't go and speculation was that it was because of his foot.

I just hope if he's still having problems they sit him until he's 100%. I still believe they brought Talbot back too soon last year and he wasn't the same player.

They are good enough to get through half they year without him, but they need him healthy for the second half and the playoffs.

Not sure what to think about this. It depends on if he's going to move to wing or not, wouldn't like him as a 3rd line center. He is only 29 and has had quite a few 20+ goal seasons. He also bangs Hilary Duff.

Comrie's definitely going to play wing, and for only $500K it is a pretty damn good signing. Hope he can repeat some of his success he had early on in his career, and if he doesn't and he sucks...Who cares? It's only $500K.

That's the clause in Crosby's contract that no one saw.  He gets 8 mil per, but his rent is 7.5 mil.

At the time of the signing there was speculation that he was going to play third line center either because of Staal's injury or because Staal is moving up. I'm not a fan of taking offensive guys and trying to plug them into the bottom 2 lines. That's the kind of shit they used to pull before Shero took over, and it always failed miserably.

Lots of potential here, even more if Tangradi makes the cut. i expect to see Asham and Cooke play with the top 2 lines as energy/change of pace guys as well:
