There was a time when most thought Dennis Hopper might not live long enough to die from cancer.  Kudos and RIP.

Kinda funny, he had a small scene in a movie I watched the other night (Jesus Son, very enjoyable) and I couldn't help but think about Hopper and the many roles I've seen him in over the years; always enjoyed his performances.  And while he'll be remembered by most as Mr. Easy Rider, I'll always first think of the psychopath he played in Blue Velvet.  Whew, what a performance!
