So now the Big 10 has 12 teams and the Big 12 has 10 teams. Time for some new names, yes? Somebody suggested Great Lakes Conf. and the Great Plains Conf. That way they can juggle team counts all they want.
I'm glad OU didn't end up in the PAC 10 though, would have preferred the SEC to that.

If Colorado can be considered a Pacific coast team, I see no reason the Sooners couldn't be. Or Delaware. Or University of Phoenix...
