Quote
"Bob was a guy that started as a strictly tough guy but made himself a player," former Toronto maple Leafs enforcer Wendel Clark told Canadian Press. "Off the ice, everything was a whole different story. He was one of the good guys and he'd do anything for anybody."

Probert was charged several times with driving under the influence while playing for Detroit. He also was caught trying to carry cocaine from Canada into the U.S. in 1989 and served a six-month federal prison sentence.

He was placed on inactive status for the 1994-95 season after he was involved in a motorcycle accident and tests showed alcohol and cocaine in his system.

He sounds like a real nice guy. *eyeroll*

yeah i remember watching that fight, one of the best alltime fights imo. i actually think that was an espn game when they still carried the nhl and weren't only concerned with what time lebron is going to take a shit today.

That's one of the best all-time? Right. More announcer hype than action.

They didn't do fuck all for the first half and then they were dog tired near the end.

Fuck all?  What the hell is that?  Englishmen say that.  Thought you were Canadian Oat.  Pick one already!

I enjoyed that little Probert top 5 clip.   4 thru 1 were really good.  Just seemed like that McSorley fight lasted forever.  That makes it a good one in my opinion.

And no wonder the dude fought so good.  All those cocaine allegations and a Federal conviction.  Christ.  Half the people on this site could fight like that on blow.

Yes, yes, otis, we know.  It's boring to you if there's no amputees or coprophagy.

I'm kind of glad that I had to look that up and that I didn't already know it.

Yeah, I had to look that one up too. Then I had to click on the See Penso Mugging link to get the exact details of that maneuver.

Look it up, like hell.  You were bored by the time you got to the third syllable.

I hope you're happy Penso.

You took a perfectly good tribute thread and turned it into 2 Enforcers 1 Cup.

First Touchdown in Super Bowl XLIII by Pittsburgh Steelers Running Back Gary Russell

I keep watching that video.  Not because I give a good damn about the TD, but because of that silly bastard repeating "Thats the power G.  That IS the POWER G!"  Apologies if any of you took that video, no, no, never mind.  If any of you did y'all need to hear this too.

If you are sitting at a game, and you get real excited when your favorite team scores, there is no need in the God damned world to name the play that was just ran.

Even if you somehow got hold of the playbook and memorized that shit.

Never, EVER do that shit.  Especially if Im around ya.  Gunna start carrying a sock full of washers just for that reason.  No idea why it chaps my ass so bad when people name the play.  Real, fictional, dont matter to me.  Makes me want to gouge out my own eyes.

Thank you for your time.

Guess P4P wasn't a big fan of Finny's Video Bootleg SB XLIII w/ Commentary (feat. an additional 2 hrs of post-game analysis with a whiteboard).
