First offense, possession, should be a 1 gamer for Bell, times the Goodell-Steelers multiplier, 4 games.

Has Blount had a run-in with the league before?  Whatever, Goodell will make sure he gets more than Wifebeater.

Haven't looked at the CBA recently, but if it's possible...Steelers should be proactive and announce one game suspension for both.  Hold them out of the opener against Browns.

Besides, whatever Hitler decides, both players could appeal the decision and delay its imposition.  If they've already been suspended by the team for one game, Hitler could let them off for time served and not impose additional sentence.

Better to miss opener against the Browns than a later game against the Ravens, Colts, Saints, Panthers, etc.

I'll take my chances against Hoyer.

Bouchette is saying that they both play tonight, and any suspension is likely to come next season. That's if neither of them has had a 1st positive test, which the league doesn't publicly disclose. Since the league apparently tests players who have never had a positive test only once from April to early August, my guess is the passed their one test and were "free" to smoke
