I'll be joining you in the 40 club very soon.  As I'm sure you know, working on a dissertation makes me feel 80.

I don't even remember 40 and I've already finished my dissertation... I think it was Jello.

Five players were held out of practice on Wednesday including tackle Flozell Adams (ankle), Miller (concussion), safety Troy Polamalu (ankle), defensive end Aaron Smith (triceps), and wide receiver Hines Ward (not injury related). Running back Isaac Redman was limited with an ankle injury.

Looks like Heat and Flo will miss a week.  Aaron's a ways off.

In other news, the new punter changed his # from 3 to 13...

I was so mad that game ended up in Pittsburgh.  Then we were going to it while visiting the fam at Christmas, and those plans got cancelled.

Meh.  Prior to XLIII, we didn't get in to see a game, either.  Of course, that was the year of the infamous BIL drunken run around the stadium.  So I guess we'll drive up, get drunk and run around the parking lot for a while for good luck.  Bourbon and Nyquiltinis all around!

Per the week 14 predictions, I'm gonna say this reverses the trend and stays close early (17-13 at the half) and gets ugly in the 2H.  Steelers win 42-13, Bengals suck it like Miley sucking the bong on her 18th birthday.

*Stay out of 3rd and long.
*Get after Palmer.
*Get the ball to the young guys (17, 88, 84, 34, 33).
*Revel in causing pain.
