Emails have been sent by Yahoo. This league is full if everyone returns.

Draft is the last week prior to the 1st game. I kept the same league settings as last time so if there are any tweaks you'd like, make your case here.

I think there was someone who officially "retired" after last season. Jar, maybe? Can't remember.

Hmmm, that rings a bell. I guess it'll be the person who doesn't join! And wasn't there a list of people who wanted to take his place? Got a little digging around to do then.

I vote we promote the winner of last year's MGS FFL II. That simplifies matters, and gives those scrubs on the junior circuit something to strive for.

You can get that from Yahoo...It keeps history. Just click on league --> managers --> Your Name (not your team name). Then click on your team name from 2009.

So it looks like AJ is the only one to not sign up yet, jarjar is the player who dropped out. So we need the extra player, I like penso's suggestion of promoting inviting last year's winner of the MGS FFL Too league.
That would be one Maximum Chaos (team name). Not sure who that is around here as their yahoo email is hidden (paranoid effer). So, if you see this then sign up. You can play both leagues - if your feeble-minded commish can do it ...

It's a shame I can't make a living playing free fantasy sports. Then again, if it were work, it wouldn't be fun.
Just curious, if this is a keeper league, do I choose keepers from jarjar's old team or do I start from scratch?

Starting from scratch across the board sounds fine to me.

It's up to each player. You can choose to keep from 0-2 players from jarjar's final roster last season. Just post them over in the keeper thread.
Aj, are you declaring 0 keepers?
I think most have posted their intent in the keeper thread. Remember, if managers don't post 'em in the keeper thread in time for me to update the official keepers list in our league, you're SOL come draft time

Not to bitch, but I had no control over picks until I restarted the puter and hopped back in at R5, I think. DeSean Jackson was my R3 target, so fine. Sproles was a later round target. Not sure what the animosity w/ Macs is about. Got it going, but the shit runs fast and it's easy to lose track of what you need. I got 10 of my 18 round-targeted players, tho' many (like Sproles) not at the round I targeted.
But, hey, technology is imperfect. I live with the results.

Penso's win cherry popped. It wasn't the league high score (in true MGS FFL fashion the two highest scoring teams played each other) but still, not too shabby. Now watch us both go on 5 game opposite streaks.
I'm running low on unicorn horns to burn.
