Doubt very much the final preseason game does much to change things, but the way the boys stank it up in Denver it looks like they need to have another dry run anyway.  In the past I offered predictions of the 53-MR, but this is more a look at how I'd wield the ax.  Underlined are gameday inactives if all players are healthy.

QB (3): Byron Leftwich, Dennis Dixon, Charlie BatchAntonio Brown, Antwaan Randle El, Tyler GrishamT Tony Hills, G Kraig UrbikNick Eason Thad GibsonCrezdon Butler

Cut away from the game last night in disgust, only to find that I was getting the Pitt-Utah scrum after all, so watched the 4Q comeback and overtime bed-shit.  Fine night for Pitt sports.

Not much to add.  Patrick Bailey played well, not likely well enough to save him from the cuts, but still had some nice disruption in the Panther backfield.  Stevie Sly had another good game, and I could see him as a potential 53-MR guy.  Me personally, he's still a practice squadder, but showing some promise.  Where in the world were Worilds and Gibson?  MIA.

Keenan Lewis had some redemption, as did Ant Brown (except on KR).  The OL shlubs looked OK, when they weren't getting BFL killed.  Good analysis at Steelers Lounge.  Dude's done a nice job of breaking down the OL this preseason.

Redman looked solid again.  Dwyer is too inconsistent -- solidified my opinion to move him to the PS.

Rumors that Hartwig and Urbik are getting the axe.  Steelers are trying to Mahan Hartwig: if they can get any draft picks for that guy, God bless 'em.
