Biggest surprises IMO are Burnett and Logan.  Not surprised by Urbik or Hartwig, that was rumored.  Summers didn't show enough.

Dwyer made the cut?  Very up and down preseason.  They must like his potential.

Wasn't thrilled with Brown's KR, thought they'd keep Logan for a while as insurance.  Bet he gets picked up.

I liked Burnett's potential, maybe I'm the only one.  Rookie Crez Butler did show some nice stuff though.

Also, Steve Sly makes it at LB, that's interesting.  Had a couple of good games.

Well, tis what it tis.

I think Burnett is sort of a surprise.

A little surprised that Sonny Harris didn't stick around, since he already was PS raided before. Thought he was developing, but I guess patience ran short.

I also see that Hartwig had zero trade value. Can't understand why Mahan would be worthy of a late pick a couple seasons ago, but Hartwig wouldn't this year?  He's easily better than 2008 Mahan.

Didn't we send Mahan back to the Bucs?  Could have been a franchise familiarity thing.

Not surprised by the Logan cut.  Pleased, but not surprised.

Why didn't we cut Leftwich?  He is expected to miss 3-4 weeks, so what use is he?

I'm assuming that might draw the ire of the players' union, but I'm not sure he was worthy of making the team anyway.

I think they'll keep him as WR3 and cut Batch week 5.

Rumors that Steelers might be looking for RB depth behind RM and MeMo?  I hope not, really want to see Redman used in the regular season.  Maybe Dwyer gets cut after all, or traded?

He has certainly earned the right to give it a shot in a real game.
