Great start to the game.  Sloppy Joe rocked and coughs it up.

Missed most of the first half.  Thank you, 6pm start time; thank you, meet the teacher night!

Both Defenses looked stout; no surprise there.  But I think Jets' offense is more anemic without Jones.  Don't care who you're playing that performance was pathetic.

Pats looking like AFCE champs again, but Jets might win 9 games on D alone.

So Baltimore's QB and kicker BOTH made possible TD saving tackles tonight?

Then again, if the Jets O doesn't improve, maybe no help for the D.  1:40 or so left, 1 timeout, down by 1.  Jets burn their timeout and over a minute of clock to get 15 yards.  4th and 10, reciever catches the ball 9 yards, takes 2 giant steps toward sideline, out of bounds half yard short.  No effort whatsoever to try to get 1st down.

Sanchez 10-21 passing for 74 yards.  That would be 3.5 YPA.  Add in two sacks, and it's 2.9.  Nice.

Honestly, at the end of that game, I wasn't thinking, "Man, those guys are a lot better than us."  In fact, I was thinking, "Hmmmm...DD might have a shot in week 4."

Maybe if Rexy spent more time at training camp working on fundamentals instead of having dick measuring contests, the Jets wouldn't have looked so lost for their home opener.

Fuck, that was one sloppy, lazy and unprepared team.

On a positive note, good start for my "Jets miss the playoffs" bet.

That was hilarious, reminded me of ocho against the steelers a few years back.

Of course I was rooting hard for the Jets but there was something very satisfying about hearing the collective wind come out of  60,000 douchebags when that receiver stepped out a yard short.
