I read V. Jackson is about to go to the Vikes.  Granted Favre is playing like a big pile of dog shit, but i think Jackson could be a fit there.  Bottom line is I pulled the trigger on him.  I know its only weel 2, but a potential monster like him wont be around much longer.  Dumped the Bears D and snagged him.  Question is, too soon?

I don't think so. Jackson is owned in most leagues as people drafted him with one of their last 2 picks. He would instantly becomes Minnesota's number 1 guy and would be a guy you'd start every week if the trade went through. Also, giving up the Bears Defense = not a big deal. Good move to pick him up without dropping much (average defense at best).

Not sure why, but I somehow feel better now.

Who carries a backup defense anyway?

Took Jackson and Rice as my last two picks in one of my pay leagues.  Hopin' it pays off come playoff time.

So no, it wasn't too soon.  Surprised he was even available in the first place...unless it's like, a 10 team league or somethin'.
