Penguins forward Jordan Staal addressed reporters on Thursday inside the team's locker room at Southpointe.

Among the highlights were Staal saying he "isn't sure when he be back in action ... there have been a lot of ups and downs in the action."

Staal has not been able to work out or get on the ice since having the procedure to clear an infection in his foot, but on a positive note, he is "not feeling any pain at all."

Staal knows it won't be easy to work back to game shape, but he does expect to resume working out next week, although he is still unsure when he will be able to skate.

Well, least he isnt in pain.  Till they gotta cut him open again and remove tissue if they keep FUCKING AROUND with that foot.

Seems like someone screwed the pooch here. I mean the shit happened in may, almost half a year ago. I know there's some really resistant strands of bacteria out there and all, but geez.
