(c) Offensive team commits a foul and spot of enforcement is behind its own goal line.

Spot of enforcement for holding on a punt is not the spot of the foul.  It's from the original placement of the football.

Also, the hold occured outside the endzone IIRC.

Even holding in the endzone, on a pass play, according to the rule mentioned above, would not be a safety because it isn't a spot foul.

The only spot fould that comes to mind quickly, for my age anyway, is intentional grounding.

Not that it's correct, but I swear I have heard reference to holding on pass play = safety.

I believe that it has even been called and awarded that way too. Maybe it is different, but I doubt it. I'm guessing that the holding just wasn't in the end zone on this particular play.

OK Chris. Now that we have practiced kissing and cuddling, we'll practice eating out...at a fancy restaurant.

Yeah, I was going to say that we have a pretty memorable example of holding in the end zone that everyone here should remember.

That happened litterally before my, Jasonic's and Otis' eyes. Almost made it a long(er) trip home from Tampa.

You have chilled with Otis.  Gotta be like chilling with Elvis.

My minds image of Otis is this:

Constant shit eating grin.
Drinking a Labatt  Blue.
Red and black flannel shirt.
Smelling of Hai Karate and Bratwurst.
And a tattoo of a scene from 2 Girls 1 Cup.

Close?    Grin
